MainStay Suites Carlisle - Harrisburg

Close to the highway, yet quiet. The bed was amazing. The pillows were so great, we looked them up and ordered some for home.

This place was great ! The staff was fantastic and very friendly !!! I travel with kids and my first priority is safety . I want the area we stay in to be safe and I want my car to be safe sitting in the lot . This place is perfect ! It’s in the country and nothing within a 1/2 mile of it . It’s very quiet . There are gas stations about 1/2 mile away and a great place to eat called the rustic tavern about 8 minutes away . The rooms are fantastic ! They are huge and extremely clean . They have a cool little sitting area across from the main desk where you can read or hook up a computer or charger and a tv if you want to watch it right there . Two little things although not deal Breakers . First the sliding bathroom door . I’m not a fan . There is no lock and because of the style of it there is a 2” gap when closed you can see right in . The second small Thing is the breakfast . No hot eggs or hot anything . They do have fruits , cereal , toast , breakfast bars , juice and coffee and pre packed muffins . They were all tasty and would not be a reason not to stay here . I hope more of these will be opening up throughout the east coast as I do a lot of travel up and down and would stay here again in a second . Thank you for a great nights sleep !

the property was so clean, and newly renovated/built. it is a non-smoking building too. it felt good to stay somewhere that didn’t stink like people used to smoke there 20 years ago. the room was very spacious and included a full size fridge, dishwasher, sink, microwave. the hotel offered many appliances you can borrow as well. a simple continental breakfast is offered, which includes muffins, waffles, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, cereal, oatmeal. breakfast is offered from 6:00-9:00am
